The Rocky Mountain Total Rewards Association is committed to protecting the privacy of the users of its web site. To better inform you of our policy concerning user privacy, we have adopted the following guidelines. Please note that these guidelines are subject to change, and any such changes will be included on this page.

Information Collected

As with most industry-standard web serving software, each visit to our website generates a logfile entry that indicates time of visit, the domain name of your machine (e.g., "dial-54.somewhere.edu") and the file(s) (and their sizes, in bytes) that your visit generated. Other non-personally identifiable information also includes the type of web browser and the operating system you are using.

Use of the Information

We use the information you provide to facilitate your use of the RMTRA web site, to respond to your inquiries about RMTRA, to improve the design of our site, for system administration and troubleshooting purposes, and in aggregated form, to track and analyze site usage. This information is for internal use only and is not shared with third parties.

For continuing education credits that is granted for our events. We do provide attendee information to associations to confirm that a member/contact qualifies for continuing education credits.

For sponsored events, we provide attendee numbers, name, company, title, and email address to our sponsors.

Privacy

As a RMTRA member, you may participate in the online RMTRA membership directory, which is available to RMTRA members only via password protection. Your contact information is for use by the members of RMTRA and is not sold or distributed to third parties. We do not allow member information to be used for solicitation purposes of any kind.

Use of Cookies

In rare instances RMTRA employs "cookie" technology. Cookies are small pieces of text that are stored on your computer and act as a tool for controlling certain system variables and storing system configuration information in the website environment. RMTRA only uses cookies to store authentication information. No personal information is extracted in the cookie setting process, and we do not use cookies to identify what other sites or pages you have visited. We do not involve advertisers, who may place a cookie on your browser, in the operation of our site.

We provide this statement as an assurance to you. We want you to know that your privacy is respected and will not be abused or violated by visiting our site.
